Montana, Idaho, Oregon & Washington, USA from June 25 to July 03, 2004 (Page 1 of 2)

To proceed to the Spokane BMW Rally Photos Page 2 of our motorcycle trip from July 14 to 18, 2004.

Our Route through NORTHWESTERN USA. Covered approx. 4,200.00km on the motorcycles.

After staying in Radium the night before we head south on Hwy 93 crossing into Montana following the West side of Lake Koocanusa.

After riding most of the day in the rain we stay at the St. Ignatius, Montana Campground.

June 26, 2004 a picture opportunity from the tent of the motorcycle and Teepee.

We enter Idaho on Hwy 12...

passing through the Lolo Pass.

A quick swim in the river to cool off & Mike plays with the Butterflies.

A beautiful campsite high up in the mountain close to Grangeville, Idaho.

July 27, 2004. Elk City at the end of Hwy 14.

Hwy 14 follows the river and is one of the funnest roads to ride as there is no traffic.

A huge storm hits us before we can get shelter.

Luckily at the White bird local pub we met a hobby welder...

...who took us to his shop...

...and welded up the broken pieces. Thanks a bunch.

After all that excitment we stay in Riggins, Idaho.

June 28, 2004. Continuing on our merry way on Hwy 95, caming upon a cattle drive...the old Wild West is still alive.

At Cambridge we turn onto Hwy 74 toward Oxbow and enter Hells Canyon, Oregon.

June 29, 2004. Hwy 3 between...

...Joseph and Clarkston.

June 30, 2004. Brushing our teeth...

We visited Lower Granite Dam and ended up in Electric City...

...on the banks of Banks Lake.

July 01, 2004, we visit with Ruby's Mom and Brother Rusty in Osoyoos, British Columbia.
