Canadian Rene Cormier has spent much of the last 6 years travelling around the world on his BMW F650 and has authored "The University of Gravel Roads", a memoir about that trip. This 154,000 kilometer trip provides many of the topics for fireside conversations about global travelling by motorcycle.

If you are looking for custom parts for your motorcycle, you have to check out www.migsel.com. Michel, a friend of ours, who we met at the BMW Off Road Enduro Course in Germany is located in Belgium. All prices include taxes and shipping. The GPS mounts are deluxe.

Handmade aluminum luggage and accessories for adventure touring located in Arizona, United States and run by Al Jesse. Al Jesse has been all around the world on this motorcycle. His luggage system is the most durable we have found.
Knopf Tours (www.knopftours.com)
Knopf Tours is located in Heidelberg, Germany and run by Stefan Knopf. His website is very informative in regards to the Green Card Insurance, which he is able to arrange prior to arrival. He also rents BMW motorcycle at a very reasonable rate, include luggage bags and insurance on a weekly basis. Other services include motorcycle storage, shipping arrangement of your own motorcycle and buying and selling of motorcycles. Note if you book a motorcycle rental with him he will pick you up from the Frankfurt Airport and you can stay at his Pension in Heidelberg. It doesn’t get any easier then that.
