Means of Transportation

We often get asked what are we going to do after we complete travelling the world on motorcycle?

In 2010 after our six (6) months motorcycle trip through all the "Stan" Countries, Caucasus Countries, Russia and Mongolia, we returned to Germany. We realized that though we loved exploring the world on motorcycles, it was time for something else. Beaten up by rough roads, bad weather and maybe the age factor our bodies were looking for more comfort.

We had always planned to convert a Toyota Landcruiser into an Overland Vehicle. Somehow it happened earlier than we thought thanks to Jost who we had met in Mongolia.

Our visit in late September 2010 to Tom's Fahrzeugtechnik in Germany was to scope out his shop. Instead we ended up buying a fully converted Toyota Landcruiser.

We knew it was meant to be. After all we all have only unus vita (one life).

No worries we will continue travelling the world, only now with the Toyota Landcruiser. The BMW motorcycles have been imported to Germany and will be utilized by us to explore Europe.
